Supported evidence
| Item | Current documented position |
|---|---|
| Platform | Windows x64 is the reviewed development configuration. Linux/macOS architecture intentions are not equivalent to tested desktop packages. |
| Operating-system minimum | No public supported minimum Windows version is established in this snapshot. Recorded Windows 10.0.26200/x64 runs are test environments, not a support promise. |
| Graphics | The Windows viewport has Direct3D 11 evidence. A compatible graphics environment is needed for that viewport; remote/virtual sessions can behave differently. |
| Memory and disk | No validated minimum RAM, GPU memory or free-disk threshold is published. Follow the requirements supplied with the actual build. |
| Python | Use the build’s embedded CPython runtime. The reviewed baseline uses CPython 3.14.8; Release and Debug runtime ABIs differ. |
| Internet | These local document/material lessons do not implement online account sign-in. Online services and production entitlement connectivity are not established. |
Desktop versus headless
A headless build can run supported document/quantity scripts but has no graphical panels or viewport. A desktop build without the Python extensions cannot follow Python workbench lessons. Optional build features must be checked before diagnosing a missing menu as an error.
What users do not need
A correctly assembled runtime package should not require a user to install Visual Studio, copy DLLs from a development computer, or point the application at a system Python installation. Those are developer/package-assembly concerns. The current repository does not publish a finished end-user installer.
