Review notice: Development documentation for OpenSite 0.0.1, source snapshot 77c3fee (Phase 13C). Reviewed against implementation on 29 October 2026. Tests and the Windows desktop were not rerun for this publication; this is not a released-product support claim.

Verify a pinned dependency archive and configure a build from a matching local prefix.

Stable identifier
dependencies.distribution

Status reported by source

Implemented in the reviewed development source. Historical test evidence is recorded by the repository; no test rerun or product release is claimed by this publication.

Units

None. This feature does not change quantities.

Behavior

The bootstrap tools validate an archive checksum and extract a local dependency prefix. The historical 0.0.0 archive is manifest-only. The 0.1.0 bundle contains Windows CPython/pybind11. The 0.2.0 scientific prefix and Qt/Eigen components are separate development dependencies; select matching configuration and toolchain pins. An ordinary configure/build does not download missing dependencies.

Errors

corrupt_bundle when the checksum or archive is invalid. incompatible_bundle when a compiled package does not match the host. Bundle 0.0.0 has no package to mismatch.

Limitations

Do not mix Debug and Release Python ABIs, compiler contracts or dependency pins. The manifest-only bundle is not a compiled SDK. The scientific bundle is an internal development prerelease; no public production release is implied. The reviewed Windows evidence does not establish Linux/macOS runtime availability.

Available hosts

The bootstrap tool on Windows. Configure reads a local prefix and does not download during an ordinary build.

Licensing and access

Each distributed component needs its matching notices and redistribution review. The repository records CPython/pybind11 and scientific-runtime reviews; those records are specific to their artifacts and do not constitute blanket licensing clearance for another build.

Verification evidence

Repository evidence references (not rerun for this publication): CTest bootstrap.library and bootstrap.prefix. ADR-0020. Checksums and commands are in the Phase 2 acceptance report.

Documentation basis

Source-reviewed against development commit 77c3fee13944bcc4b5d487c77eb1f82fbe4c6ea7, branch feature/phase-13c-properties-python-expressions. This review inspected the implementation and repository evidence; it did not run the Windows application or repeat CTest.
