Choose an interactive command, a repeatable script, a property expression or an extension.
Choose the surface
- Console: quick expressions, discovery and short checks.
- Script editor: repeatable files and current-file assistance.
- Debugger: paused stack, variables and Python-line stepping.
- Plot tabs: published Matplotlib images.
- Property expressions: retained formula source with explicit Python consent and evaluation.
Recommended route
- Run a first script
- Discover application commands
- Debug a script
- Publish a plot
- Use a property expression
Shared runtime
One interpreter/lane is shared by the console, workbench and Python-expression execution. Rerun retains state. Python is trusted code; cooperative interruption cannot forcibly terminate a native library call.
